Welcome Pixride to the block, designed to get you out of your creative slump. An inspirational tool that stacks random images from design websites on to your screen to kick start a brainstorming session and give you the inspiration you may need.
“Each time you press the “Ride!” button, Pixride automatically gathers dozens of images from various designer-oriented websites and randomly provides you with a super-fast visual boost.” – Pixride website
Each user can select the speed in which the images stack, learn more about each image by clicking on it or simply sit back and browse thousands of inspiring pictures appear before them, even suggest his/her new favorite site to be added to the database.
The ideas company behind the project is Boroda Project.
“We’ve developed this project for ourselves, first and foremost,” says one of the developers, Arina Avdeeva. “There are more and more sites out there to get designer inspiration from; there is simply not enough time to browse through all these bookmarks. What we have created is a pictures aggregator of sorts, making it convenient to quickly check out what’s new in visual design.” – via Ads of the World
However, Pixride is not simply a picture aggregator; the site offers a unique, fresh way of viewing and browsing pictures on the web, especially for those involved in graphic design. So, go on…take a ride.
