cuddles and rage

Creative couple Liz & Jimmy Reed are the creators of “Cuddles and Rage”, a “disturbingly cute’ web comic that documents the adventures of adorable food and animal characters. Set in a place named “Snuggle City”, these characters are depicted in humorous scenes that are often accompanied by witty captions. In addition to hand-drawn comics that are published every Monday, the duo also creates detailed dioramas that have been hand-sculpted from polymer clay and styled with dollhouse furniture.
Each of these well-made dioramas takes three to eight hours to complete—in that time, the Reeds also had to prevent their cat, Kio, from “knocking everything down Godzilla-style”.  These seriously charming scenes are made even funnier by their captions—in one, a couple of biscuits, two chocolate fingers and a marshmallow are shown getting together for a “Group Hug”.
For more of these sweet dioramas, check out Cuddles and Rage every Wednesday.

Tom Foerstel

Founder & President

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60’s, Tom developed a strong desire to create positive change for people and planet.

He went on to pursue his passion for art and design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and worked for design firms in Southern California before moving to Boise, Idaho in the early 80’s. Foerstel Design opened its doors in 1985. Since its inception, the firm has cultivated a bold, happy, forward-looking team focussed on creating distinct and effective work on behalf of their clients.

An integral part of Tom’s philosophy is giving back to the community in which he lives — a company cornerstone that drives Foerstel’s long history of providing pro-bono services to local non-profit humanitarian and arts programs.

One of Tom’s proudest personal achievements is his ability to say Supercalifragilisticexpyalidocious backwards.
