With the changing of the seasons, we at Foerstel embark upon new clients, new opportunities and overall growth in our organization and mission to save the earth. Over the past few months our office became an Airbnb of sorts to two visiting furry friends, Gracie an exuberant pup who loves belly rubs and Poppy, a very happy and friendly bunny who loves bananas and tormenting Milo, Foerstel’s Chief Feline Officer!
On a more permanent note, we’ve added two amazing additions to the Foerstel crew. Meet David Vincent, our Spring design intern – turned Junior Art Director and Alex Rhodes, the newest Art Director (and relative of Glenn Rhodes of THE Rhodes Skate Park).

Alex Rhodes Alex is super stoked to be working on packaging! He is having a ball at the office where we enjoy guessing what little character is going to be printed all over his shirt that day. When Alex isn’t at his desk, he enjoys fly fishing, doodling, photography and has a penchant for all things pistachio or lemon…oh, and ICE CREAM! |
In May, we participated in the annual May in Motion and took home the Platinum award! Tom logged an astounding 54.75 miles on foot, Laura took home the winning prize for most treacherous commute, logging in 124.4 miles on bike to and from the office. Linda, Megan and Cody live relatively close to the office and were able to ride their bikes every day of the month.
In June, the City of Boise welcomed hundreds of spectators (more like “spectaters” am I right, Idaho Potato Commission?) to our neighborhood to witness professional skateboarders compete in the Road to the X Games at Rhodes Skate Park. To show our support, we worked with our friends at Trademark to fabricate a 94.5″ x 23″ skateboard to affix to the roof of our building. David took inspiration from our in-office cat Milo to create the eye popping design and in the days before the event, Trademark hopped on the roof and installed the nearly eight foot long structure.
