When you first look at the supposed screens of these vintage TVs, you’d quite naturally assume that some film or program was playing on them. In actual fact, you’re looking at incredible miniature set designs, built inside the shells of discarded television sets by talented Chinese artist Zhang Xiangxi.
The sculpted rooms sow anything from the interior of a train carriage to a beautiful and intricate apartment layout, replicating the tiniest of things including lamps, books and little suitcases.
